I’m MaKayla Elise Carr, a Nashville native with two degrees in health sciences and personal training, now bringing my Southern charm and quirky, outgoing personality to Los Angeles. With years of experience training all demographics, I specialize in strength training, mobility, and helping clients recover after injuries and surgeries. Fitness found me at a point of depression and in an atmosphere surrounded by mental illness — after starting my first business in 2019 during COVID, fitness found me my lowest and taught me how to push through life’s challenges with mental, emotional, and physical resilience. That’s why I do what I do—to help others feel that same transformation, but to develop a strong foundation that sticks long after you finish with a trainer. For me, fitness isn’t just about looking good; that’s a side effect. It’s about teaching the foundations of movement so my clients can live empowered, pain-free lives. With experience in competitive cheer, volleyball, and coaching/educating others my entire life through movement, it’s about servant leadership, and making sure I use myself as a vessel of impact for to others to get more comfortable about fitness. I combine a passion for impact with a deep understanding of fitness science to help clients move better, grow stronger, and become the best version of themselves. Whether it’s recovering from surgery like my 3 acl/mcl tears from CrossFit, or hitting new personal records, I’m here to guide and cheer you on every step of the way.goal?
